i'm 19 and i'd like to buy flavored condoms "for" my boyfriend and i was just wondering how would this look to the guy ringing the register?

I've gone shopping with my oldest daughter and watched her buy female condoms.....So, I'd have to say "Yes" its okay, even if your buying the "Guy-kind"......Your the one needing the protection.....but I do understand your point, if he's a "Responsible Man" you'd think he'd come equipped with protection.. And as far as it maybe looking "Odd" for a woman buying condom's in front of a male cashier, I wouldn't worry about that, too much.. they probably see it all the time, just make conversation with him while he's ringing up your things about the wheather , or anything to distract him, so he's not "Consciously thinking about what he's ringing up" or talk about something you saw on one of their isle's.. or ask him a question about the store, like did they rearange an isle, or do something to isle 5, because it looks different to you.. Or what days do the adds come out, anything so he'll be trying to accomidate your question's and not be thinking about what your purchasing.. Have Fun Hun!! Dont sweat the small stuff!! They wont, so you shouldn't.. Smile!!!

I work at a drug store. All of my coworkers and I could care less who buys condoms. You ring out so many people and see so many weirdos that a normal, teenage girl buying condoms isn't going to turn any heads. If anything, I'd think "damn, lucky guy."

My girlfriends have bought me condoms on several occasions. It's no biggie.

Who cares what the guy or girl behind the counter thinks. Do you think you are the only person he/she has seen buying condoms? I don't think so. I am sure in this day and age there are allot of people buying condoms. Just go out and buy them, look the cashier in the eye and be proud that you are taking responsibility for your own sexual protection. You go girl!

Sure there's nothing wrong with that, the guy ringing the register will probably want in on the action !!
If you get a wierd look just say your making balloon animals out of them at a birthday party, you ran out of balloons so you had to use condoms.
Or you can tell him you'll meet him out front later and I'll bet you'll get them for free.

The guy at the register of course would have some snide comment in his head, but you're 19, you're an adult, you can do whatever you want to. And besides, it's their job being the employee to be professional and if they are thinking those things in their head, then they're not doing their job right.

It would look like a girl who is practicing safe sex!! Kudos to you for being responsible....although I would recommend condoms with spermicide instead of flavored.

It's perfectly okay for a girl to buy condoms. Who cares what the casier says. But if it really bothers you, buy them online and have them delivered to your door.

Well one time i went in the the gas staitoin with my friend and he was just joking around and he bought some and like the register man was like oo your going to have fun tonight and like he was like you can pull around back if you want to and then he was like i wont look promise and he was like maybe just a peek lol look at the girl but yeah it was very wierd but yeah if you dont have anyone with you most of the time they dont say anything just like have a good night or somthing like that they might look at you funny but i no that i wouldnt be buying any lol because i just would laugh and look stupid but yeah its fine i mean at least you are uses them some people dont
