i mean, we know that islamists can do really horrible things just because of their faith. (wearing 20 bombs around their wraist and make them explode or things like that). I know that these things are horrible and very wrong but what power does islamic religion have that forces people to do such things?
If instead of moving people towards these kind of actions it moved them towards "good" actions it would be the perfect religion.
Islamic religion seems to be a very demanding religion asking its followers to do all kinds of things for their god, and the surprise is that they follow those rules that may seem a bit absurd to others.
What is it in there that is there not in christian faith?

It's rather ignorant that you assume all Muslims are terrorists. Many Muslims do good things. For all you know, others may think that Christianity is a demanding religion; besides, who are you to judge other's choice of faith? It is not necessarily that Christianity lacks something that Islam has, rather, it is the most appealing religion to some people, just as others are Buddhists, Jews, Hindus, etc.

Christianity and Judaism do not ask its believers to kill themselves for their faith. It is absurd but that is the way Mohammed wanted it. The section of the Qua'ran says that if a Jihadist dies in battle for the faith then he will go to heaven where he will be met by 72 virgins who will satisfy his every whim. Since most of these murderers do not have anything good about them they fancy going to heaven to be met by 72 virgins. However, what about the kids who die for Islam? What about the women? They merely get heaven which is a lovely garden with green grass and beautiful flowers. This is definitely a plus for Muslims because most of them live in poverty and never see a garden or green grass.

Islam has the belief in only ONE GOD. We don't believe in a trinity like Christians. We believe 100% in monotheism. Oh and by the way Muslims don't strap bombs to their chests and kill innocent people.

nice racism, do you realize that only a small sect of middleasterners belong to radical islam, the part of the religion which believes in the destruction of the infidel. and while few in the middleast would denounce hate america campaigns and the such they are mostly just a victim to mob mentality, which is not just an "islam" thing so don't even try pinning that on them. why did the kkk excecute and torment many blacks and non-protestants, its the same type of thing; though not the same reason.

as a faith , Islam is very simple . one god , one prophet.
Christianity is not easy to understand as a faith , because of the trinity. ( 3 persons make one god ?! )
to many people , 1+1+1 =1 , is hard to understand .
even christians , they accept it as it is , and try not to think about it.if you asked a christian about it , he/she will give you strange examples that leaves you with more questions .
one god - one prophet idea makes the religion united , I mean , you will never find an order from Muhammad as prophet , that Allah in the quraan did not order . there is Harmony between the two parts .
in Christianity , you'll find the gospels talking about things , that you'll never find in the O.T or find things totally different in the same one subject . ( like holy war and killing your enemy and take his land , kigdom of god , .. etc )
there is no Harmony in the bible ( O.T and N.T )
the Quraan is very very close to the O.T
closer than the gospels .
Islam as a religion , promise the followers in the end ( in heaven / after death) that they will get things they know and love as rewards .
christianity promise , is nothing we know ( most of us ) or understand enough to love . both promise eternal life , but Islam have very powrerful extras !! .. ( like sex and wine and gold and everything you can think of or dream about )
very important power in Islam as a religion, that orders of muhammad and Allah , cover all parts of any life , daily life .
how to eat , what to eat , how to drink , what to drink , what to say in your prayers for anything you want from god ... how much money you must pay to the state and the poor ( taxes or zakah ) , .. every detail of our life , and it's documented in the quraan and sayings of muhammd .
its not created hundreds of years later after his death , like christianity .
christian leaders did create all that jesus didn't talk about.
and now , many many people started to know that .
and many people did not accept it . even if they did not leave christianity .
there is many things in Islam , that it's not in christianity
as much as there is things in Judaism , that it's not in christianity

my simplest explanation about the difference between Islam (and any other world view) and Christianity (as Jesus Christ meant it) is this:
They are spelled "D-O".
Christianity (as Christ meant it) is spelled "D-O-N-E".
In a nut shell, all other world views require you to do and/or not do things to determine what happens to you after death. With Christianity, it's about what Jesus Christ has done that saves any of us.
This is just my humble opinion and 2 cents. Frankly, none of us ever deserve(d) to go to heaven in the first place.

You're forgetting the crusades. Christians haven't always been the 'civilised' ones or the non-aggressors.
Besides which, there are fanatics in all causes and they are all capable of horrific acts if properly motivated. Why pick specifically on Islam and Muslims?

the relgion of islam does not flat out say that you should go out and bomb/kill ppl but it does have a verse in the qoran that says to destroy those who do not believe. many of the ppl who do bombings are radicals and do it for political reasons, like the taliban. in the bible it never says to kill unbelievers. that's the difference.
