Ribbons and points. It is a very rare show that has money as a prize.
Sometimes the sponsoring kennel club will offer a small token prize.
Some of the things I've gotten have been a handmade ceramic tile of my dogs breed (Great Dane), Igloo water jug,basket of dog treats, collar & leash set, things of this nature.
Showing is expensive and money isn't made at them.

my teacher has been showing for 25 years, she has a box of medals from the dog shows from when they gave out medals
now its just ribbons
