When you knock, how many times do you do it?

3 the first time. 5 if i have to knock a second time. 7 if i have to knock a third.

As many times as it takes, i may start with three then wait, knock about four more then another four another four eventually i realize nobodys there and i give up, but not before i top it off with another four or more knocks, i am usually frustrated at this point so my last knock is usually a, "Open the damn door" My hand hurts by now.

depends on who's door I am knocking on, what business I have there and what mood I am in! 7 times when really chirpy... 3 times when a little grumpy. 4 times when serious business :-)
