You can start to teach them now. They can learn basic things like sit, give you their paw, lay down, you can start on stay this one is usually a hard one, come. All the basic things.
Just do with one pup at a time and for only 10 minutes a day. Then you can increase the time to 15 minute twice a day when they reach 9 to 10 weeks old.

My puppy was 8 weeks old when I got her. I started working with her right away as bonding time. I just made everything a game, now she is two and will give me a high five, high ten, or shakes my hand.

You can start training as young as 6 weeks! I used dog food (the kind that comes in a tube like meat at petsmart) cut up into small pieces as treats when my pups were young.

I read in a book where you should allow a 2 week bonding period for the dog to want to please his/her owner, this will make training much easier. After that, go for it! Puppies brains absorb so much info at a young age!

Maybe around 8 months old. Dogs learn better when they are yunger. And for treats you can give him cheese. Cheese is not bad for your dog. Just make sure you don't give him too much! Good luck!☺
