push ups

it is called sports specific training.

your muscles have a so called memory

so the more push ups you do the more push ups you will be able to do

i always encourage my clients to be comfortable with moving their own body weight before i introduce free weights

so to increase the number you can do max out ie go until you drop

keep that up and you will notice a marked improvement

next day you can try doing 100 for example
if you can do this is 10 sets of 10 great
then aim for 5 sets of 20
2 sets of 50
1 set of 100
and go from there, the key is to do 100 .

Then the next day go until you drop again.

Good luck and good health

the only thank you to advance is to maintain doing them and be sure you have appropriate style. while i became training for a actual try, I did 3 gadgets of 25 "guy" push-united stateson one foot with a minute to a minute and a 0.5 relax in between. only after some weeks, I observed exceptional progression.

1. More pushups! (I know, seems obvious)

2. Bench press
- High reps with a light weight to build muscle size
- Low reps with a heavier weight to strengthen muscle

3. Exercises that focus on:
- Your back (like pulling rows)
- Your triceps (like rope pulldowns)
- Your chest (like flys)

Good luck!
