Are microwave rice cookers safe to eat from?

i have never heard of a microwave rice cooker. rice is very easy to cook on the stove top.

Your dad is being silly. Microwave ovens are completely safe unless they ar e malfunctioning, so how would one know you were cooking rice in it rather than anything else?

Your dad is either playing a joke on you or he's had too much beer!

your dad is totally right...... microwaves arent safe but almost impossible to avoid.
