I'm crushing on this really popular guy, I have caught him checking me out a couple times, plus he butted my in line at the cafeteria and made my friend and I move from our spot because he wanted to be there, but other than that, he isn't giving me the time of day. He's pretty much the hottest guy you can imagine, but I need to get over him, seriously, it's affecting my life. I literally obsess over him, I'll write his name over and over. Ehenever I see him talking to a girl, I get green with envy. How can I effectively get ovet this cruch and carry on with my life?

just start talking to other guys and ignore him. there are plenty of other guys out there.

Recognize that it is just your hormones in overdrive, not actual feelings.
Feelings take time to develop and they come from spending time with someone. This is not a problem for you because you said he doesn't give you the time of day.
You should either talk to him and flat out tell how you feel or move on and at least find someone who will appreciate you obsessing over him.

I know exactly how you feel. I was in this same situation with a lady I knew from the age of 10, to now at 21.
You could tell him how you feel, and if he feels the same, great, no need to sit back and torture yourself. If he doesn't, then there you go, the end of it. He's then just not good enough for you and find someone who is.

Focus on school things and after school activities that don't involve talking about guys. And then after a while start talking to another guy even if just as friends who knows maybe it will end up something else. Once this hot guy sees that you don't notice him and believe me he notices he'll notice you.

Well, are you obsessed with his popularity or him? If you really like him, talk to him. Personally, you like that he's so popular and attractive. You will carry on with life when you realize that you don't really like him, but his image. It seems like you haven't even talked to him or anything, so you obviously don't like this guy for just him.

Start looking for a new guy. Interact with other guys in class that you might like. Talk to them, join clubs/activites and talk to them about them and soon enough you'll forget all about him. Good Luck!

its hard when your head and heart are saying 2 different things. when you see him or think of him-start listing negatives. does he have this certain zit? make it become a big deal and you'll realize that he's not perfect and without a good personality, he has nothing
