I always do the romance thing. (Depending of course on how long of a couple you have been). Say, get home before her, or invite her to your house. Set the mood with candles and red wine, or what have you. While preparing the meal lead her to your bathroom where you have a nice warm bath drawn with some more candles and red wine, let her relax with some nice music she likes. While fixing the food, make sure to check up on her and dote over her, foot massage, what have you.
Basically just do all the work and make sure she is just ultimately spoiled.

We dont know anything about her, so hard to say. I can tell you not to get, any applaince oriented gifts, and nothing that remotely suggets that she's 30. You must have heard her say OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS about something she had seen, thats always a good bet. OH if she sees the word affordable in the same sentence as "her gift" your toast.

im 29 and i LOVE massages. id get her a couple's massage..just so you can get in on it too. its really fun and you can figure out what the masseuse is doing then do it at home all the time to each other. manicures and pedicures are good too!

Ask her mother or best friend if they know of anything she may want. If she truly cares for you, she may want an engagement ring. If that's too much to expect, possibly a weekend getaway.
