Thank You very much. I have read you excellent answers.

Must say one thing, however, please do not hold me in high esteem, I am one who is simply learing to decrease that Unconditional Love, might increase in me.

I simply want to learn how to give rise to this Unconditional Love within myself, to love others and myself more effectively.

I appreciate any encouraging answers that come this way, and am deeply sorry for leaving anyone of any different religion or philosophy of life out.

There is inherent good within every individual of every relgion, and philosophy of life, as well within every Atheist and Agnostic. By doing my best, using what little skillful effort I know, I always want to see the good in all people.

Well it looks to me like you are on to a great start to answering your own question. Your kind words are the kind of thinking which leads to such widespread universal brotherly and sisterly love. The only thing I dare ad is we not stop at Buddhists and Christians. Other than that, how i can help you? I dare not say because you may well be quite advanced already. Peace be with you kind friend.

The answer is, if you are a Christian; than be one in deed and in all things. In all facets of your life. God should be your life not just a part of it. The same holds true of Buddhists.

In word and deed, do all with God in mind. For those who do not practice their beliefs, convoluted thinking and actions will ensue, giving rise to unkindness, meanness, non-love and selfishness.

Lastly, for those who do not espouse any religion; they assume a law unto themselves. i.e. if it feels right then it must be right.

Emotions have never and will never be a safe guide to what is right and wrong. We all must have a standard to live our lives by, it will either be God or the world. If by God's standard then let's live it and be bold.

We already know what happens when we live by the world's standard.

Get in close relationship with God (through Jesus from our christian view), and the love of God will flow into you (by the power of the Holy Spirit).

According to 2 Peter we can share in the divine nature ... love, joy, peace, endurance, goodness, kindness...

Buddhists have some good ideas to encourage considering others as well as ourselves.

... Why are you directing the question to Buddhists as well? Buddhists generally work on getting themselves on a spiritual plane away from all worldly indulgences such as love, hate, etc.
