my hair is SOO long, down 2 my butt and ive never cut it, my dad doesnt even want me trimming it. how can i convince him? o and its red and frizzy 2. OOOOOOOOOOHHHHH NOOO!

well just do it without him knowing and when you come home and he sees he will know it was for the best, if he doesn't like ti their is noooo... way you can get in trouble, it is already to late to go back. Just get it cut and he will regret ever saying no to you.

Long hair can be a wonderful asset. If you cut just to rebel against your Dad, you may regret it. Of course you should do what you want, but how about looking at web sites like www.longhaircommunity.com and see if you can learn to love your hair.

First off find out why your dad doesn't want you to cut your hair, it will be more helpful for you to know this before you can show the reasons why you do want to cut it. You can use the point of trimming it will make it look nicer, and help it to grow heathly.

Why doesn't he want you trimming it? That's not healthy for your hair- you need to get rid of the split ends.
Is it all one length? Maybe you can get it layered or something.
Or I'd go with the whole cutting it off yourself deal. That's your best bet. Then you can say "Well, since it looks bad, let me at least get it professionally fixed." And while you're there you can get it styled however you want too!
Oh yeah, and maybe you can negociate or something, like get it cut shorter, but long enough to please him.

Im answering another one of ur questions! hehe!
OK, try telling ur dad that as crazy as it sounds, that your hair being that long makes you unhappy. that it makes you feel ashamed, and shy. and you feel ugly. you have to really exaggerate on ur feelings lol. ask him what it is that you can do to let you be aloud to get your hair cut. you can also try writing him a paper on why you want to get ur hair cut. i know it sounds silly but it would prove that your mature, and he might say yes. also, if he says no, dont get into a big stink out of it, that might make him more mad and likely to say no in the futue.

tell your dad you dont like it dont think it looks good, long bushy hair USUALLY doesnt look good! besides it's your hair! if that doesnt work beg him for along time. if it still doesnt work spend the night at a friends house then while your over there have it cut!

just say dad i cant handle my hair...and plus its getting damaged and so pretend your going to the hairdressers for a "trim" but have howver much you want cut off, and come back home and say ooops..sorry dad!..haha..or you can just say the hair dresser accidentally cut too much off??

cut it yourself and be like... oops. or put a crap load of gum at the bottom and you will have to cut it out, thus short hair.
