prespawn - stumps shallow cover grass laydowns
spawn - shallow water edge of boat docks grasslines must be in the sun
post spawn - points ledges drop offs and in the top water months of post spawn shallow water in hte morning must follow bait fish and in the fall dying grass laydowns

Any time you can get out is a good place to go.with kids fish for Blue gill,carp ,catfish,they're fairly easy to catch.I prefer rivers because the migration patterns are always changing and you never know what you will catch.

wharever the bait fish are. shad, minnows ect. if you dont know how to find those look for sea gulls pelacans cranes, or herrons.
