Nobody gets into an accident because they don't wear a helmet. They get into an accident because they don't pay attention to their riding or someone causes them to crash.
Injuries to those not wearing helmets is VERY high... lok at your favorite bike/skateboard star... do you think they wear helmets just to show off stickers?
Head injuries are not an easy thing to overcome. Buy the best helmet you can and WEAR IT.

Havent heard of a helmet causing an accident. There is lots of info on how they prevent injury when they are worn, or how many accidents have injuries with people that dont wear them.

Wearing a helmet does not PREVENT accidents, it helps assure that you will SURVIVE them.
