My girlfriend and I have always gotten along really well...but for the past few weeks things have been a lot different. It seems like we fight about the smallest things. Also, we haven't been hanging out as much, her roommate gets mad if she hangs out with me too much, so then my girlfriend doesn't want to make her mad. A lot of the time my gf and I plan on hanging out and then she bails on me because she doesn't want to leave her roommate alone. I think her roommate is a big baby....she's 21 and can't handle being alone for a day. Anyhow, I guess I'm wondering what i should do? Given an option, she'll always pick hanging out with her roommate over me...and she says it's because I will get over it sooner than her roommate will...so yea, what should I do?

Normally I would suggets talking to her and telling her how your are feeling but the way she stands you up is just not right. Unless you love her I would find someone that has time for you....just out of curiosity is her room mate a female or male?

dump her she is not worth your time. then she will figure out that she is pissed at her roommate because she lost a really good person who wants to hang out.regardless if you try to bring it up it's going to make her more mad at you. let her get mad a the roommate

never under estimate the power of women in pairs or more.

she is being a good friend to her room mate who as you say is acting like a big baby.

surely this shows how nice your gf is? wouldnt you want to be with her even more? if you want her to choose you over her friend then i think you are on a losing battle, dont take it personally though. look at it as an admirable quality in your gf.

Holy...what the...is she seeing you or her roommate!!!? Move on, and let her know why. If your an especially warm person tell her you sincerely hope the two of them will be happy together.

Well it seems the room mate is the problem because she just won't have anyone to hang out with. I say you get one of your friends or something to go out with her to keep her occupied.

shes being distant for a reason...
ask her to bring her roommate along, and ull bring one of ur friends along. if she says no, u need to have a serious talk w/ her.

If it really botheres you enough, dump her and find a new chick.

Don't try to change her behavior though, that's just pointless and annoying for everyone involved.
