My bf is a charming and flirty guy. He's even like that in front of me. I think he's just comfortable with me but one of his friends hit on him while she was drunk and I told him it bothered me that he goes ahead and flirts with her so he stopped with her. He still does it with other girls though. It bothers me but I don't want to be controlling.

Do the same back flirt with his friends or with your guy friends and he will go crazy. If he gets mad tell him that since he flirts with other girls you figured that you do the same.

i'd have to agree with you there. i mean, what can u do? if you complain, he thinks ur controlling and jealous, but if you let him....... some guys r just naturally like this, flirty, i mean.
it's like its a part of their ego-building or something. the important part is that he chose you over all the other girls, and you should be comfortable enough to trust him, and except his faults, no matter how frustrating and angering.

Dump him and find a guy who doesn't flirt. If you could handle it you wouldn't be writing in for advice. To me, it's like a guy saying "I may be with someone, but I'm available".

I gave up not so long ago. Its hard to change someone you love. The more you try the more they do it. Try to ignore it or if you can't bit them join them.

just tell him that it bugs u a lot. he will understand and stop. tel him that u dont want to control him, and he doesn't have to stop- but u would like it if he did b/c u dont like it. if he doesn't, thats his choice- he knows u dont like it. just keep reminding him u dont like it until he stops
