There is a t.v upstairs with like 200 channels and then the t.v in the basement with like 40. The basement is totally gross and cold and damp and uninviting. The only channel my brother ever watches is on the t.v upstairs. Even though about 60 % of the time my show is on downstairs, i don't always want to go down there because it is so cold. Sometimes i go downstairs but sometimes i would like to stay upstairs, even though my show is on downstairs and my brother wants to watch his show. Is it bad of me to want to stay upstairs sometimes?

You guys should try spending time on the same floor as a family. No tv involved.

No, you should be able to watch the upstairs t.v. too. He should get it 50% of the time, and you should get it 50% of the time. And if your fav program is on at the same time his is, well it should still be 50/50. See if mom or dad will set down a rule about the tv so you both have equal rights.

It is a fair deal.. suggest to him that you take turns. If that does not work than explain to your parents and have them intervene. Good luck. LL.
