I want to make digital music like backgroud music where can I download something like that for free

Normally programs like that do not come for free as it is very expensive to develop such programs.
Personally I did a search on download.com and searched "music mixer" and selected the free filter and I could not find anything that you are talking about. You can try to do the same search and see if there is anything you like.
I too have tried to find a program like this and please contact me if you find a good one that you enjoy so I too can enjoy it. :)

I would download limewire from http://www.download.com . Just search for limewire and then the setup is easy. Now for background music on myspace, just go to the band/artist's myspace and click the add button. Also, on myspace, you can make a playlist and paste the code onto your page. http://www.projectplaylist.com . Limewire is free. Limewire pro isn't free. I hope this helped.
