my best guy friend "Joe" is always there for me, listens to me and helps sort out my problems. he had a crush on me earlier, and i kinda think he still does. i just went through a bad breakup with another guy (one of his bffs), and Joe stayed with me through everything. Joe pulled me out of my depression earlier this year and i've kinda pulled him out of his. we've hugged once b/c both our lives have been horrible. he's never had a gf more than 2 months. he's the best guy i've ever known, but i just don't know how to sort out my feelings about him. i'm gonna miss him next year when he's not here (he's a senior in h.s., i'm a sophomore). please help me out a little bit. thanks

maybe you think u want a relationship with him.. u want the male companionship.. but maybe ure not ready for that just yet. wait it out. he seems to be a great guy, but its always better to stay friends with a great guy... and then later on pursue something else.
to me it sounds u should just stay friends with him, ure really not emotionally ready for a relationship.
good luck and take care!

I think you should give yourself some time to get over your last breakup. Do you like him too? If the answer is yes, give the relationship a try. If things work out, I'm sure he'll come back next year for plenty of visits. Please consider that if things don't work out, you could ruin your friendship. It's very simple, just listen to your heart!

Have him switch numbers with you. Maybe when the time comes you guys can go on a picnic or go to a movie. Do something fun instead of feeling sad about him leaving. Time with him is precious. Good Luck!

Well, the real question is, are you attracted to him? Good friends are awesome and all, but if you are not attracted to him, it sounds like you both are best as friends. Remember, he'll be going to college next year and those relationships are hard to maintain. If it's meant to happen as love, it will happen eventually.
