So about a week ago me and this girl I realllly like made out a bit, but the next day she said she only wants to be friends. So we went to a movie a few days ago and she started holding my hand and what not, obviously it didnt go as far as the other time, but she seed to really like me. Since then we've gone back to school and she hangs out with me quite a lot, but kids have kinda been teasing me and her about it. She says it wont happen again when someone asked her and she told my friend that she thinks it would be weird for me to ask her out because I know were only friends. (She told me that on msn by the way that she told him that) But she never actually went and told ME that. I've told her I liked her and she knows it. I cant tell if she likes me as friends or mabe more and just tells people that she only thinks of us as friends because I havent asked her out and because they bug her about it. Plus I kinda told her I wouldnt ask her out because i was told she didnt want me to.

I should also note that it was her that brought up the question if I was gonna ask her out or not. I told her no because my friend told me about what she said on msn about the 2 of us as friends. But like I said she never told me that to my face. I'm going to see a movie with her and 2 friends tomorrow and shopping with her on sunday and if things go well i was gonna ask her out just to get it over with so I dont wonder for the rest of my life. What do you think?

Wait for her to sort her feelings out. Be sure to let her know two things:

1. You will not wait around forever for her to make up her mind.
2. If she eventually decides she likes you and wants to go out, she should ask you to prevent you from asking her every two weeks.

Other than that it almost sounds like she's using you for some reason. Could she be trying to make someone jealous?

I think you should go for it...what is it really going to hurt..one of my best friends waited too long for this guy that is her best friend, and in the end he ended up being totally in love with her... you should always take chance no matter what. you will always learn from them. This girl is probably just waiting for you to make the first move, and to ask her out. If you don't go for it you will be playing safe for the rest of your life wondering if you should go for something or not. If it turns out bad than you can still be friends and hangout, you are friends now and that wouldnt change. Friendship is stronger than anything!! Hope the advice works!
