It is always better to have friend that you can interact with on a personal level, as you do not always know with certainty what kind of person you may be chatting with via 'cyberspace'.
The satisfaction of having a few close friends in your life is far better than talking to a stranger on a screen. Realizing of course that it is all too often easier for some to converse in such a manner, but not has healthy as chatting with someone
over a cup of coffee or dinner and much more rewarding as you can then see their expressions and body language.
Also, developing a true relationship that will last over a lifetime is a very precious thing. Real friends are literally more valuable than gold.

I like having just a top 4 because it makes my myspace page a lot more neater and packed together rather than a top 24 taking up so much space.

i have 8 top friends. those are my siblings and a the friends i like the most. the ones who rarely ever piss me off.
