Currently I'm living in Charleston,SC but I'm from GA but here are somethings to do in the lovely and historic port city of Charleston:

1. If you're afraid of african-americans and black dominated neighborhoods I suggest you don't go to most parts of North Charleston, and east and west Downtown Charleston stay near the battery and the historic districts.
2. Visit the Old Slave Market where the use to sell my ancestors centuries ago, and if you don't like people of caribbean descent and rich white tourists then don't go.
3. Visit Folly Beach, James Island, and other great Charlestonian beaches.
4. Go shopping downtown, they have a lot of nice things down there, and learn more about the history of the city.
5. Visit Fort Sumter, the first battle of the Civil War.
