Hi you can also contact your local leukemia and lymphoma society and ask them to help you out. They are very helpful and can also give you alot of information on ALL. ALL is a progressive malignant disease it has a sudden onset and rapid progression. Remission of 5 years or longer in children is 50% to 70%. I had a brother who had it but he was 35 and did not survive due to his age because this is a child's leukemia. Your best bet is to ask your doctor or hospital. They may have groups of survivors that meet regularly. You can also find others by searching the internet for groups or chat rooms, these can be very helpful.
