Try orajel. It will keep it numb, and some pain reliever.
Get her in to the dentist ASAP.
Lots of love from Mom helps too!
Good luck Hon!

1) Clove Oil Compress
Clove oil contains eugenol, a natural pain killer and antibacterial. Mix 2 to 3 drops of pure clove oil with 1/4 teaspoon olive oil. Saturate a cotton ball with the mixture and place the cotton ball beside the tooth.
If the toothache involves a molar at the back of your mouth, you can bite down gently on the cotton ball to keep it in place. Leave it there for as long as possible (but don't go to sleep with it in your mouth.) Pain relief should begin quite rapidly.
Side effects
Undiluted clove oil inside the mouth can causing burning, tissue or nerve damage, and pain. In large doses, clove oil taken orally can cause vomiting, sore throat, seizure, difficulty breathing, kidney failure, or liver damage.
Children, pregnant or nursing women, and people with diabetes, kidney or liver disease or bleeding disorders should avoid taking clove oil.
2) Activated Charcoal Compress
Activated charcoal is available at many drug stores and natural health food stores.
Mix two teaspoons of activated charcoal powder with just enough water to make a paste. Apply it to a piece of gauze and place the gauze on the tooth. Bite down.
See your doctor if:
if pain lasts longer than one or two days
you have a fever
you have trouble breathing or swallowing
you have chest shoulder or arm pain
there is a foul discharge

Go to the pharmacy and ask for "Hurricane Gel". It works better than Orajel and is thicker so it stays in place better. It is the same stuff that the dentist uses before he gives you a shot. Everyone that I have suggested this to has written me a thank you note. You have to get it from the pharmacist.

Dampen a washcloth and throw it in the freezer. When it gets cold and hard, have her chew on it. The cold will numb it up and help break up the gums, if teeth are coming in.

Put a banana in the freezer, or anything in the freezer. Wait for it to be frozen and let your little one chew on it. Will be nice and cold and will help with the pain without chemicals.

I work in a daycare and we deal with this all the time. Try baby Anbesol-Oral. It works awesome. Also you can try a cold wash cloth that has been in the freezer for a little while.

Take her to the dentist. There is a possibility that the tooth is having trouble
coming through?? It is so hard when you have babies and they can't tell you
what is wrong.

Is she getting her two year molars? (They're the ones at the back.) If so, just keep her properly dosed with children's Motrin, and a soft diet - no citrus, nothing salty or spicy - that can hurt!
