I have been cheated on and lied to in my last 2 relationships. I met what I think is a nice guy. I have absolutely no trust though. If he says he fell asleep, the first thing I say..is with who?....If he says he's going to the store...I think he's going to meet someone.....How can I tell if someone is a liar...and how can I avoid getting so worried. I feel shellshocked from my last relationship. Like every word Im told is going to be a lie. Or do you think that it's ok to be this way with a man. Is that the way they need to be treated?

Make sure 2 tell this guy what happened in ur past 2 make u feel that way. Then he'll make an effort 2 gain ur trust, and u'll feel a lot better about it. Although most guys r that bad, u have 2 give him the benefit of the doubt- nice, faithful guys DO exist. If u r like that all the time, he will notice, and it may hurt ur relationship b/c he'll think u don't trust him. How would u feel if u found out he felt the same way whenever u went anywhere??? Talk 2 him. Good Luck!!!

Hey Marie where not all dogs you know! By the way in my last two real relationships ( a year or longer) I had been lied to and cheated on as well should be like that as well with women? To me it's not like every person is different everyone starts off with a clean slate. I will be me and treat the person that I am with the best way possible because they might actually be nice. until they cross me than I will just move on to the next one. But no you should never treat someone bad because your last relationship went wrong that's very wrong you might end up losing something that was actually good to you just because of the way you act. Good luck

You need to start fresh with this man and forget about the other men otherwise your heart will never be free to love someone else. Wipe the last 2 right out of your head and remember that not every guy is a total loser.

if he gives you a reason to be worried or suspicious then that's a different story, he should understand that you have been hurt before, but too if you don't calm down you might lose something that is good. i know its hard to trust again but you have to try cause every man you'll meet you will compare to the others and that's not good. not every man is a cheater and i hope you have found the right one.... good luck

Instead of questioning his every move, learn his every move. Maybe hang out with him when he says he is going to go somewhere or do something. But don't do it in a harrassing stalker way. Learn to trust the person you want to be with. Learn their lifestyle and just have faith.
