Lets take this another step further shall we. Women produce an egg every single month. Forget the role of the man for a second. (Even though men are awesome! Just because we are) Without that egg, birth will not happen. So, I'm thinkin' without the egg nothing would exist. I don't think I would want to exist without there being any omlets in the the world anyways! So there. The egg came first.

the egg. Since everything evolves, the chicken egg came to be by the change in some other, for say, chicken species/identity. Since the changet would have happened to more than one egg, they were able to hatch, grow, and reproduce. People didnt always look the way we do no, and we had to come from somewhere, over time our bodies changed, but it takes ALOT of time for minor changes to be evident, so the chicken adapted itself over a long period of time to become how we see the chicken today.....so gradual changes in the species hatches from the egg....so technically the egg would always come first.....

a chicked today could in theory would lay eggs of chickens, but those chickens could have minor details that are different (maybe the ability to withstand higher heat temps, afterall our world it getting pretty roasty toasty), but it doesnt mean that *POOF* god zapped in a new line of chickens to roam the earth, it means with the constant circle of life and chane in our universal, every species will change and adapt itself to survive, and if they dont evolve, they will die and be no more.

It's obvious. The chicken. I believe that God created chickens and other animals as already full grown adults so that they wouldn't need to be constantly taken care of.
