Great weather, left door opened for a couple of days- noticed a nest built in a box on my shelve. I can not leave door open b/c I have dogs that stay inside so if I move the box slowly outside will she still use it- just all the hard work - no eggs yet...

Probably if you touch it, she wont. Try moving it with tongs or something and don't touch it with your hands.

Try to move it outside near your door where the bird entered. She might find it again, but she might not. If there are no eggs this is good...at least no baby birds are in jeoparday...if she does not find it, don't worry, she will just rebuild somewhere else.

try to move it close to where the door is where she comes in at- if you have a bush or tree close to the door or a porch overhang? use gloves and hope it works for you!

get a shovel and then put the shovel under the nest and take the nest outside with the shovel and throw it in the yard
