I have trouble when at a club or party with a group of people i dont know that well except the person(s) i went with, who know most people there, and i cant seem to talk to people or be the guy who can go up to all the girls and be themselves. Im acting shy when i know thats not me but i cant seem to break out of my shell. A lot of girls at the party helped involve me but that was only to dance and from there on i couldnt make a move which isn't helped by the fact i feel self-conscious about my dancing being below average. I know its nothing with being unable to talk to girls as when im 1 on 1 (without the loud music) i have no problem. Its talking to girls in a group when ur with a guy who is loud beside you. I dont know what to say to people i cant find anything in common with. Help please?!

The thing is - you're around people you don't have anything in common with. You said it yourself. Sometimes when we ask questions, we already know the answers, and I think you do. I have the same problem, but it's not a problem. It's just who you are. You get along with certain kinds of people and better in certain situations and surroundings. Maybe parties aren't the best places for you. There are other ways to meet people. Just live your life with the things you love and you'll cross paths with the people who share the things you love. You don't need help. You just need to relax and live, which doesn't necessarily mean partying.

Don't listen to the people who said nasty things!
i have a similar problem, where i am terrefied of groups of people i don't know. i freak out and go all quiet, don't know what so say, so i just speak to whoever i know, which makes me seem rude and like i'm ignoring everyone else.
I've kinda managed to control it though since i've been at college.

Just go for it, be yourself! I've found that most people are quite shy too, and they appreciate you making the first move. I haven't met a single person who i didn't get on with since i've been doing this. People are generally nice, and if they're not, then you shouldn't even bother with them

There is nothing wrong with you. You are not like the "Loud Guy" who needs to advertise the fact to all and sundry that he is a great, fun, confident person. This guy is clumsy - he probably couldn't organise a root in a brothel. You don't need to impress people - because you are good and you know it.

You are like the captain of a cricket team - cool, confident and in control. You don't want to waste yourself on a bunch of girls who you don't know, and don't want to know either.

You are calculating and efficient - you surgically separate the "quality" girl you really want to talk to from the gaggle of women, then go in for the kill.

It's the quiet ones you have to watch out for!

change the way you party, noise is conversation murder, try going to funky wine bars or unusual evening events, admit your rubbish at dancing and have a laugh at yourself, dont dance all serious take the pi*s. its generally pretty hard for guys to dance good, your not built to sway! you look gay if you shimmy and if you start to do beyonce's famous bum shake you might look like your having an epelectic fit! lol by B/F cant dance to save his life! and he always refuses to dance but last time we went out i spent all night dancing with his best mate, towards the end of the night he waddled on the dance floor and had a boogie.... i appreciate the effort he put in tho....lol

not something is properly incorrect with being an indian in any respect. you will possibly desire to be proud to be despite you're. you will possibly desire to have some delight because of the fact each physique's subculture is intresting and nevertheless all of them lack perfectness.

It is not necessarily a bad thing. Everyone has his own style. It is not necessary to be a loudmouth.
