Some verses about Mary of Nazareth (the Virgin Mary):
Matthew 1 and 2.
Luke 1 and 2.
John 2
Matthew 12
Mark 3
Acts 1 and 2
Luke 8
Luke 11
John 6
John 19
Matthew 13
Revelation 12 (in theory)
Isaiah 7 (prophecy)
Genesis 3 (maybe--"enmity between you and the woman")

Actually, these are the chapters in which you'll find the verses.

A database source is usually attached to your school library system online. Some databases include Lexis-Nexis, JStor, and Infotrac. Go to your school library and ask them to help you there!

Are you asking for verses/passages that speak of Mary, the mother of Jesus or verses that specifically call her "virgin Mary?" For these questions you can use any good concordance and find a vast list of verses.

As for the "data base," I'm not sure either. Use a search engine and read away I'd guess.

I found many:

Matthew 1:16 "...and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ."

Mathew 2:11: "On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. "

Matthew 13:55: "Isn't this the carpenter's son? Isn't his mother's name Mary, and aren't his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas?"

Matthew 27:56: "Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's sons."

Mark 6:3 (different account of Matthew 13:55): "Isn't this the carpenter? Isn't this Mary's son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon?"

Luke 1:27: "...to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary."

Hope these help.

"While Jesus was saying these things, one of the women in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, "Blessed is the womb that bore You and the breasts at which You nursed."
But He said, "On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it."" Luke 11:27-28
