Crying is a strength and definitely not a weakness. It allows you to show your emotions. It is also a way of relieving pressure.
I have spent so many years stopping myself from crying and now it is doing me more harm than good.

Hi there, that's a good question.
when I'm the one who is crying, I see it as a weakness and get embarressed, thus I tend to hold in a lot of feelings which have made me self destuct abit. So I do really believe crying is a good thing and those who can do it not only have more strength and self assurance but for their mental health are better off.

Sometimes it is a weekness because you know something isn't worth crying over but you cry anyways but it can also be a strength like if your afraid to let your feelings show in front of certain people and then when you do you will know that you don't have to be afraid to cry in front of someone

Definately a strength. If one does not cry, one cannot show emotion, and if you cannot show emotion how are you human?
It is a great way of letting out stress and anxiety and also helps to show how you are feeling.

it depends on what's happing. if your crying for no good reason then it's a weakness. if you need to get something done and you just can't pull yourself together, it's a weakness. but if you have a good reason to cry and you're not needed else where then it a strength.
peace

Definately a strength, you're strong enough to show your emotions. Bottling it up just makes you ill anyway. When I 1st met my boyfriend he broke down in tears one day depressed, he was ashamed & embarassed. I asked him why. He was ashamed 'cos he felt like a wuss. I told him that he is a very strong person for doing this in front of me 'cos it is even harder for a man to do this. He said I was very understanding, & if he is upset these days he thinks nothing of it just weeps!!! xxx

Neither. It's a release of intense emotion because you can cry from pain and happiness.
