My reason for picking this date is because i believe 7 is the luckest number and its been heard that its God's number 777... i believe this.

most people don't get married in july because it's too hot. wedding dresses are heavy! and think about your guests in their nice clothes. sweating, not to mention sweat stains, no appetite, drunk faster, makeup running, hair falling, bugs, oh my! ;) most people get married in september, may, march, august.

It is not God's number. It just so happens that it is the 7th month of the year, the seventh day and 2007. There are TONS of brides getting married on this day. I even considered this day and then quickly changed it to later this July because just in Michigan alone, I read that there are literally over 10,000 brides getting married on 7/7/07.

I got married on July 9th of 05. My best friend's b-day is the 7th. My b-day is the 14th. My friend's little girl's b-day is the 19th. and my brother-in-law's b-day is the 20something.
I LOVE July! Everything about July! Especially independence day!
yeah, I'm a little weird.
I think 07/07/07 would be a great day to get married... good luck planning for it though. I bet a lot of places are already booked!

I wanted to! It wasn't even because of the three sevens though! Me and my fiance's 1 year anniversary was going to be on July 4th, and since that isn't a weekend, we decided to have it the next Saturday, and it just happened to be 7/7/7.
I had so many things planned too, but then people started telling me that they couldn't make it because they had to go to another wedding on that day.. so i changed mine to the 21st :)

I work at a country club and we have had this booked for two years now. It is a great date. Have you picked your theme? I think it would be so cool to do a vegas theme. There are alot of things you can do to make it unique and tie in the novelty of the date.

I know a bunch of people getting married on that date! We aren't as that is our son's third birthday...lol But it's a very popular date this year!! If that's going to be your date...I would make sure you have your ceremony & reception site booked quickly...because I'm sure they'll go fast! Also any other bookings you need to do I would get them done asap...:0)

I know at least three couples who are getting married on 7/7/07.
I see the symbolism, but I also think it's cheezy. It's never going to happen again.
