I have noticed these small white peices of something in my mouth lately. They pretty small, about the exact shape and size of those little nerd candy....only white. I just recently started noticing them and my mom says she has the same thing. I even looked in my mouth and there is a small hole where the peices seem to be coming from.....anyone have a clue what they are, because I am stumped.

It obviously has nothing to do with teeth....my guess would be the same as judy's, seems like built up bacteria to me. No idea how I get it brushing my teeth and mouth 3 times a day.

BOBBY,
THESE SMALL OF-WHITE COLOR AND RATHER STINKY PIECES OF STUFF ARE TONSILITHS.
SO WHAT ARE THEY ARE WHAT CAUSES THEM?
THESE ARE ACCUMULATIONS OF BACTERIA AND WHITE BLOOD CELLS WHICH COME FROM YOUR TONSILS AT THE BACK OF YOUR THROAT.
ARE THEY HARMFUL?
NOT IN THE LEAST.
WHAT DO I DO ABOUT THEM?
YOU CAN USE A WATERPIK INTRAORAL IRRIGATOR AS USING A GARDEN HOSE IS MUCH TOO REDUNDANT. LOL
NEVER POKE AT YOUR TONSILS WITH ANY SHARP OBJECT--PENCILS, FORKS, ETC., TO REMOVE THESE DEPOSITS.
I HOPE YOUR QUESTION HAS BEEN ANSWERED. :-)

Yes! I had the same thing and I went to the doctor about it and he said it is the food particles, germs and infection getting caught by your glands. Your glands absorb the infection and food particles that get caught in the back of your throat throughout the day. It bothered me , so when it bothered me i would scratch them off of the back of my throat and them it wouldnt bother me anymore. My doctor says that it is not harmful or anything and that it will always be there. He said that if it really bothered me to just gargle salt water or brush my teeth and it should go away! But it is fine girl it is harmless. Hope this helps!

Well, white chips would make me think of parts of your teeth breaking off however if you mom has the same thing.... do you both use the same toothpaste? It might be the toothpaste. My husband and I use Crest Pro-Health and we notice that we get these stringy things in our mouth. We switch toothpastes and it goes away. Try that.

Do you use Listerine Whitening Pre-Brush Rinse? When I was using this product I would find what seemed to be white clumps of skin on my gums after use.

The white stuff might be bacteria that have accumulated from food in crevices or holes that you cannot see until you inspect it.

Holy cow, me and my twin sister get them, too. I have no clue what they are, either, but it's nice to know I'm not a freak!
