I like this girl at my high school and she likes me too.Problem is another guy likes her and she likes him also. I found out from her friend that the guy(lives far away and goes to a different school) wrote her a poem.What should I do?I just started to be friends with her.And the guy has a couple of months on me.Should I write a poem or do something else?

don't copy him, and don't do things for her that are out of the ordinary for you to do cause you're then making her fall for someone who isn't you. don't try too hard, be yourself, treat her with respect, like a human, listen to her when she talks and say how you really like her take on things/opinions, compliment her brains, her mind, not the physical, don't treat her like a trophy. just be real. smile at her, notice the little things. less is more. by the time she gets sick of him trying to hard to win her over with mush, she'll appreciate your genuine and humble ways of getting her attention.

Once a guy asked the janitor to open my locker so he could leave me a rose in it...that was one of the sweetest things anyone has ever done for me. I am 25 and haven't seen the guy since I was a freshman and I still remember him. Girls always love flowers. Making a girl laugh is also another sure way to win her over.

That wouldn't be original at all, to write her a poem too. It would be a total turn off to copy what he did.
Write her a song, then put a note in her locker to please go to the back of the building (or something like that) after school because you have a surprise for her.
Sing it to her gently, and look at her deep into her eyes, and if you have a guitar.. EXCELENT!

Oh God No.
No poems or letters or anything dramatic like flowers. Flowers are okay only on the first date, but really, I rarely give women flowers.
Being funny and lighthearted is your best bet. A non creepy complement works too.
But honestly, the best bet is to go for someone else who likes you only. This girl sounds like trouble.

if she likes to laugh write a poem thats says how you feel but at the same time is funny. she will laugh while reading it and see that you put time into making her feel happy. talk to her and get to her know her more, if she likes you and the other guy live far away...she would probably pick you, dont worry you seem like a nice guy.
you can also buy her some chocolates and flowers, she will love them, trust me

First off, don't let her know you like her yet. Hit on her and then draw back to seem like you're just a player who hits on everybody. You want her to think you're *almost* unavailable.
In other words, you're single, but a horndog. trust me, it sounds insane, but it works. become her friend while your doing this and then eventually start making jokes about the other guy. Make him sound like a total loser and dont stop jokingly hitting on her at this point, but make sure she sees you hit on other girls too.
Then get a girlfriend. Date her for a couple days and then say it just didn't work out. When she finally dumps her boyfriend, she's probably going to tell you about it. So that's your cue to start hitting on her for real.

Hell no, no poem. don't use the same game as the other.i kno teh fight fire with fire, bt in this case, no.you the one that see her every day. take advantage of it. son't have to come up straight about it, but work slow enough to break the ice of you liken her, but not too slow that he get to her first.he already got the first start,so you just get to know her better. you have the better chance of spendin time with her, that means that you would know her better. talkin on the phone and gettin to kno her and seein each other is two different things. you can act like anything on the phone, nothing like bein in person. step it up!

i need to win for two reasons. The first one is my mother in law is dying as we speak to an curable cancer
that her family has no idea what to do about it. Two of her brothers have or is dying of it. First it affect her older
brother and now it is affecting her younger brother. She laid to rest her older son in August to and curable
type of cancer that went to the brain. She is a remarkable woman. My only wish is to buy a dozen roses to lay
down when she dies. I hope that's not really soon

Okay this my be just me but I'd really like to be given a rose. or a bushel of roses but not a poem especially one like, You shine like the light from the sun, it just sounds fake if you really mean it and you makes sure a woman (besides your mom) approves of it then it's cool. Good Luck

If she really likes you, you won't have to do anything but be yourself. She'll make her choice and you can't blame yourself if she doesn't choose you as long as you were honest with her about who you are as a person. Trying to "woo" her will only take away from who you are if you normally don't do it. Just be yourself.
