I would recommend SE because it has a more sportier look than the XLE. It also has a lower price too.

The XLE is comfortable and luxurious, as quiet and smooth as a Rolls Royce. The SE is suppose to be sportier, but its pretty much the same engine and everything with a body kit, spoiler, and different interior. Depends what you are looking for in a car.

The XLE is the fanciest dressed out Camry. The SE is pretty much a milk toast version. Sloppy soft rolling suspension.

If you are looking for a Camry that handles better than all of them take a ride in an LE version. Wider wheels, lower profile tires, larger front and rear anti-roll bars, slightly stiffer springs and re-valved struts.

Nascar is wrong: The oil sludge issue is OLD news and Toyota has settled this issue. So why is Nascar bringing it up again and again?:

Toyota spokesman John Hanson acknowledges that the anti-Toyota Internet comments contributed to the decision. But, he says, "It is not an engine defect. We are sure the problem comes from people not changing their oil often enough."

Hanson says the problems have been concentrated where winters are extremely cold and summers are especially humid and among owners who make a lot of short trips. Hanson says the company is making an immediate change to its V-6 engine that will give a wider margin of error if people wait too long to change their oil. A redesign of the four-cylinder already incorporated a similar change.

Also Camry is top of JP Powers along with Lexus.

These are great cars, don't let this misleading person steer you wrong - and heaven forbid into the arms of a Saturn product! or other GM car.

Lexus, Toyota and Honda models dominate the segment rankings. Lexus models lead in four segments: GS
300/GS 430 (midsize premium car), LS 430 (large premium car), SC 430 (premium sporty car) and GX 470
(midsize premium MAV). Four Toyota models also lead in their respective segments: Echo (sub-compact car),
RAV4 (compact MAV), Highlander (midsize MAV) and Tundra (large pickup).

Honda models rank highest in
three segments: Civic (compact car), S2000 (compact premium sporty car) and Odyssey (van).

Models by Acura,
Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, Mazda, Mercury and GMC each rank highest in one catagory segment.

i in my view have the 2007 XLE w/navigation & push button commence. it incredibly is marvelous. Gasmileage is outstanding to w/the 6 velocity computerized transmission. in case you do no longer guard each and each of the frills, then the SE is wonderful too. only incredibly one is greater "sporty" & the different one is greater "luxurious", i.e. the cost distinction. My 1st automobile became a Toyota Corolla & that concern ran invariably.
