Why does it bug me that I don't have a bf?

I don't need one, I can live without men..but it still bugs me..why?

Because humans have a desire for affection, to feel close to someone else, and a desire for sex. You don't actually need any of these to survive, though - just to stay sane. We can live without women, too. It's a lonely, sterile existence, but we can do it. Personally, I wouldn't want to try - I like being close to a special woman. It's also good for your health - married couples live longer (on average) than singles.

Every girl CAN live w/o a man it's all in perspective as 2 whether or not they really want 2. It's best 2 have a companion, like the old country song says "you'd better let somebody love u b4 its 2 late"

Because you do need a boyfriend - you just are either afraid, lazy, or such a loner that you can't see the use for other people when it comes to doing things for fun.
If you think of it that way, you can stay that way all your life if you want. Or you can do something about it and start mingling with guys, flirting a little bit, doing things with a group of friends, watching other couples interact, and getting on with your life.

Well, when you see other people together (it's always in your face) then you sort of miss that feeling of being a couple with someone. No, you don't NEED a man, but it's sure nice to be with one that will treat you right. Your time WILL come just like everyone else's. Good luck!!

it usually because you see other people around you in a relationship having a good time and it looks like fun. it bothers me to but when i get into a relationship i find that its the thought of having one that i liked best.so just stay single, your right you dont need a b/f to have a good time so take some time for yourself and plan a night out w/ ur "chick" friends and dont worry a/b guyz, if u were meant to have one u wud, plus ur time will come so intill then just take life one day at a time.

You're surrounded by a boyfriend-girlfriend culture. It's hard to ignore those influences. The part of you that is self-sufficient should rule. As time goes on, you'll be a more attractive target because of your self-confidence. You'll then have the opportunity to choose or reject. You're in a good place.

People assume that one should be in a relationship to be happy, but that is not true. You may also see all your friends happy with their boyfriends and wish you had one in order to be happy. Love yourself and be happy because you love yourself. A boyfriend will come along eventually. Sometimes when you have one you will wish you were single. Relationships can be a wonderful thing, but it is not a gaurantee. Only you can gaurantee your happiness by making the right decisions.
