I wouldnt reccomend it, but it cant harm the dog unless is has an alergic reaction. I would recomend going to the dollar store and buying a bottle of dog shampoo for a dollar and using that, its specially ready for your dog. But dishsoap isnt to bad either, ive used it but kept it away from the dogs face to do it as a quick clean. Not for everytime however. Not good on their coat.

human shampoo is way better than dishsoap also, i use it on my dog alot if im outa shampoo and its smells goodon them too.

You can use dish soap, but think of it as a one-time thing for a particularly messy dog or a dog that's gotten into something greasy. Regular use will cause skin problems for the dog, so stick with a shampoo for dogs for regular use. Don't let it get in the dog's eyes!! It will sting their eyes just as it would yours. Dish soap is a better choice to use than say human shampoo (unless you happen to have baby shampoo).

It's easier to mix the dish soap in a warm cup of water first and then apply to the dog.

NO you cant use any human dish soaps on animals cause the dish soap isnt good for pets health or even not good for their coats and skins. can cause problems like can harm the dogs eyes, even kill the dog quickley . if you want to the right dogs shampoo product then go to the pet store or drug store and get the shampoo that is only use on dogs and its safer .

No do not use this.
Dish soap will take out all the good oils, leaving your dog itchy and dry.
Get some dog shampoo, best thing for him. If you want bath your dog in just water. Gets the dirt out without damaging there coat until you get dog shampoo....

If you use dishwashing detergent on your dog the odds are good that he/she will end up with skin problems. No detergents or people shampoos or soaps not even baby shampoo. Get dog shampoo from your pet store and save yourself a lot of future grief.

You can, but I wouldn't suggest it. Dish soap is generally mild but you don't want to take a chance of your dog being allergic to something in the dish soap. Pert Plus works well though if you have any of that around!

It is not recommended because it dries out the dogs skin. You can get a dog shampoo for a reasonably inexpensive price.

You can but its not a great idea. Depends also on the dogs lenght of coat.

The vet suggested Baby Shampoo for my boxer. It doesnt dry out their skin and doesnt cause other problems.
