No unclean thing may be allowed to be in heaven so once satan defied God he became unclean & was kicked out of heaven.
2 Peter 2:4
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment.
Eph. 5: 5
5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

That fact that he got kicked out shows that sin isn't tolerated!

He became to high and mighty he thought he was as good or better than God. He had his own followers and they all got kicked out of Heave along with Lucifer.

God allowed even the angels to have free will to follow or not; however, choosing to sin caused them to be no longer able to dwell in the presence of holy God. Eventhough God did not create sin, he allowed the opportunity for it by allowing the choice to follow or not.
