i want to lose weight and the headachs

It might take time. You didnt put it all on at once, you wont lose it all at once.
My buddy lost 30 pounds in a month afte he started taking meds - (but he is 100+ pounds overweight.) but after that he was losing about a pound a week.
So he added walking, weight lifting and diet changes - lots of diet changes - and now he is putting on muscle and losing weight. He looks and feels a lot better in lots of ways.

First thing you need to do is always test in the morning. Also, on Synthroid, you want to have the morning TSH around 1.0. If its 2.0 or higher weight loss will be extremely difficult and almost impossible. So get your morning TSH around 1.0 and reduce carbs in the diet and exercise 3-4 times a week. I was told I had the same thing and was given the same medication. I was tired all the time. Then I heard about taking sea kelp tablets from the health food store. It gives you energy and boost your metabolism. After taking it for awhile, I got retested and they said my thyroid is alright now. If I feel tired I take it and it helps a little. There was no side affects. But to loose wait, I would find foods that curb your appetite and try to stay active.
