It's usually best to go in for a cleaning & x-rays after you have your braces removed. This way any extra cement that was left behind will be removed and the x-rays, which you probably didn't have while you were in ortho, will make sure there is no decay present in between your teeth. Sometimes people develop "scars" from wearing braces. It's best to talk to your dental provider about ways to treat the area. Good luck!

I use Crest Whitening Strips and after I use Crest Vivid White tooth paste. I also suggest getting an electric tooth brush, this helps naturally whiten your teeth.

The Crest strips are not the cheap ones but my experience is that the cheap ones do not work.

Chrest Whitestrips Classic.
Don't buy the Premium ones; they do it in 7 days when the Classic do it in 14. This means there is 2x the peroxide, and this can cause huge sensitivity.

Give it time; the stains will eventually brush off.
And wear your retainers.

*& the strips cost about $35-40, but don't be cheap when it comes to the teeth you've worked hard to have.

My Teeth have everlasting Crevices in them where the braces pulled off enamel when they removed them....

And these little circular crevices are a coffee & tea stains paradise now 15 years later...

Sue Now!!! Like I should of a LONG time ago..

Congratulations on the perfect smile!!! Do your teeth feel like there is still cement on them? if so go back and have them scrap it off again.. or go to the regular dentist and have them do a deep cleaning to polish them... I would do that first.. they might give you some type of whiting samples...good luck.....
