I have my eyebrow pierced (about a year now) and I know if I take it out for a week or more you really can't even tell that I had it done. Which is important to me in case one day I need to take it out for a good job offer or what have you....
My question is, would this be the case with a vertical labret? Or would I have a very visible hole for ever even once the barbel is taken out??

As long as you keep it from getting infected it'll probably scar minimally (like your eyebrow). A bigger concern should be your teeth and gums. I've had multiple piercings and you can't see any of the scars unless I point them out.

you will have a small hole...as long as it isnt stretched out. but...i think that it would be ok to have it done...just wait for it to heal before you go for that job. lol
