The general was right when he said homosexuality was immoral. It even says so in the bible so what's the big deal. The truth is the truth.

Sounds like the Cave man has struck a nerve. Nevertheless, homosexuality is wrong and it is immoral. This country with is liberal thinking is going straight to hell.

Hmmm...... NH I believe on all US currency you will find the words "IN GOD WE TRUST". There is a song that goes "GOD BLESS AMERICA". As Americans when did we stop trusting in God. The bible describes homosexuality as an abomination and it is. Case closed!!!!! It appears that a lot of you out there want an excuse for living a morally degrading lifestyle, but there is none.

Cave man and the general spoke Biblically. I applaud them both for speaking the truth as much as this is not popular. But Jesus said, among other things, that he did not come to bring peace but a sword, and that those who are so upset at what these two persons said are enemies of God and Christ and the 'Church' (that is the church that Jesus built).

You develop a marvelous factor, fantastically in case you communicate approximately any and all transgressions equivalent in God's eyes, and if it incredibly is so no Christian would desire to persecute every physique, on account that all and sundry is the two to blame devoid of grace. the reason a marvelous type of persons concentration on homosexuality as against intercourse exterior of marriage is twofold, people are fearful of what they don't comprehend, i.e. how 2 people of different genders must have an interest in a different, and because it incredibly is far less difficult to persecute some thing that the persecutor isn't doing extremely than what they're doing.

For the truth, read the book, "Homosexuality, The Bible, The Truth - The Bible Does NOT Condemn Homosexuality." This book represents forty years of scholarly research, and it proves with irrefutable and verifiable fact that the Bible does NOT condemn homosexuality...ever! You can choose to remain ignorant of the truth, repeating and spreading anti-gay bigotry and hatred, which is not of God and goes contrary to the teachings of Jesus Christ, or you can do what the Lord requested and study to know the truth. This book gives you the correct answers to properly translating every passage from Leviticus 18:22 to the writings of Paul, and it does so with irrefutable and verifiable facts.. Before you condemn it, read it. There is nothing more ignorant than ignorance, and ignorance is proud of unlearning.

Bigotry and prejudice are immoral, and 180 degrees away from the truth.
Anti-LGBT hatred, when spoken in a public forum, becomes hate speech. No one, including a US Army General, has the right to do that - this harmful speech is specifically NOT covered by the Constitution, since its only intent is to harm others and foment anti-LGBT violence.
One can believe anything they want. Just keep it to yourself, and you won't be breaking any laws or Yahoo's TOS. But I guess some people can't help themselves.

Whether you believe homosexuality is immoral or not, is a personal belief... The Bible does refer to homosexuality as a sin, but not any worse than any other sin... The Bible also says that judging one another is a sin... Most of us sin everyday, so to single homosexuality out, is short-sighted. The problem with religion and homosexuality, is they most gay people feel that have to denounce religion to avoid living in conflict.... Hate the sin, not the sinner, for we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God...

Homosexuality is not immoral. Homosexuality is against the Bible. But, being as morals aren't only set by religion, homosexuality isn't immoral. Homosexuality doesn't affect anyone else, it affects the person involved. So, unless you're told it's wrong, you don't know it's wrong. It has nothing to do with morals.

A hint: Even if you think that way (and you're welcome to your beliefs), it is even more immoral to act on that sort of prejudice, and to ban people from serving in the armed forces is not a decision to be made with prejudice.
I honestly don't care what you think about homosexuality, but act on it to trample another's civil rights and you have done wrong.
-----
Don't Ask, Don't Tell is an untenable joke, I should add. GLBT individuals should be allowed to serve in the military entirely without bias. Even if you DO have presumably homophobic beliefs like the above poster, there is a line between holding those beliefs and forbidding people the opportunity to do what they think is right, including serve in the military.
If that's a good goal, why deny it of people merely because you think they do other things wrong? If you think smoking is wrong, do you deny your friend the opportunity to donate to charity because he is a smoker? It's absurd illogic.

The bible is not the source of morality for most of the people on the planet.
So by calling it immoral, he is saying that as an American, he is trying to impose religion on the rest of the world.

Homosexuality is a part of nature. It's only bigots like you that think otherwise.
And who said the Bible is the truth? I'd like to see you explain that WITHOUT circular reasoning.

You and the General have every right to your opinion. And I respect that.
But, to say that it is the truth and then throw the bible in on top of that is just stupid. It also says not to eat shellfish and not to wear polycotton blends.. So, do you think the Red Lobster is a sinful place?

the bible isn't truth for everyone.
Being with a woman that is on her menstral period is also against the bible...is that immoral?
Selling your daughter into slavery is NOT immoral according to the bible.
One of the commandments is 'Thou Shall Not Kill', but the punishment of adultery is death by stoning. Isn't that a contradiction??
How do you choose what 'laws' of Leviticus to follow and what ones you discard?
