Well, the real question should be, did he have sex with her? And for follow-up... did he have protected sex? Has he been tested for STDs? And if you've had sex, do the two of you have protected sex? Knowing specific people someone's had sex with isn't necessarily important, but knowing how safe someone was is important.
If you haven't discussed it any further than this, now's the time to have the history lesson.

thats ******* sucks but the past was in the past if out ways the negative **** stay if he dosent set his *** up to hurt as bad as you do or did dealing with him

I wouldn't be worried because a year ago, he didn't know you so it wasn't any thing you did wrong or anything personal agianst you
