It's to sell some old decks I have. I want to sand off the graphics enough to make sure that even if the top coats somehow came off, the graphics would still never be recognisable.

A belt sander would be faster, A palm sander would work fine aswell using about 80 grit sand paper. use wax or 2+ coats of paint as the raw wood will soak up the paint with only one coat. and water and humidity wich will cause warping and delamination in extremes. If you are refering to grafix that are vinal a solvent can be used to take off the glue (dont allow this to soak into the board)after a razor blade is used to scrape the bulk. If you are going to paint the deck. just paint over the grafix just rough up the surface a bit with sand paper and paint away.

take your trucks off and use sand paper, it will take you 5 minutes man. sand paper costs like 3 dollars at any hardware store, probably cheaper
