I hope they do.

Also does anybody know how long it's been since a side outside the old firm has won a double?

OBVIOUSLY!!!! (well I like to think so!)
I have every hope that Hibs can win, they were absolutely fantastic last Sunday, if they keep up the momentum and get the support they had from their fans then there is every chance they could do it. I do think it will be a Hibs v Celtic final which will be bloody nerve racking and emotional, but how amazing would it be to see Hampden full to the gunnel's and with a sea of green and white?

(Then Hibs lifting the cup...which means I'll have to do my streak!)

I hope they do.

I remember Aberdeen doing the double in 1986 when they beat Hibs in the League Cup and Hearts in the Scottish Cup.

They sure can, anything can happed in the final against Celtic, saying that if the two teams get there which they will, Hibs can beat Celtic if they play like they did in that cup final,

anyway your answer is Aberdeen 89/90 they beat celtic on pens in the scottish cup, and they beat rangers 2-1 in the league cup,
and before that it was Aberdeen again 85/86 they beat hibs in the scottish cup 3-0, and beat hearts 3-0 in the league cup
