I want to get a tattoo on my ankle but I'm not competely sure what to get. I'm not asking for people to tell me what to get just some ideas to get me thinking. I was thinking of a scorpion or the scorpio zodiac sign so if anyone has any drawings or pitures of that I would love to see them!! :D Thanks!

I'm a scorpio too so it interested me to look up some scorpio designs. I found some pretty cool ones.

Most tattoo places have books of tattoos for you to look through, but check online for tattoos of what you want. Or if you get an email from a friend or family member with a picture you think would make a cool tattoo then you can print out the picture and take it to the tattoo place and they will size it to the area you want to put it. I got an email from a friend that had a picture of "Taz" from the Bugs Bunny cartoons that I thought was cute, Taz is holding a heart in the picture. So I printed it out and took it in to the tattoo place and the did an ink outline if the picture and placed it in the area I wanted it. It came out looking so cool.

Don't get anything that isn't completely special to you. I think that zodiac signs are awesome and a good place to look for ideas would be right at yahoo images or something. Just type in Scorpion or Scorpio and it should come up with TONS of pictures! Good luck with your new tattoo and you should post a picture of what you're going to get!

Personally i like Biomechanical tattoos. You can google them and check them out. They look really nice. And try to get Black and Grey tattoos since they will never get outdated. Coloured tattoos will just cause you more money touching up in the future.

What about the zodiac symbol for Scorpio, but one that was designed using your heritage designs? For example I am Irish, out of the 8 tattoos that I have half of them are Celtic designs that I drew up on the way to the tattoo parlor. The other ones I have were drawn up the night before I got the tattoo. Just wait it out, and something special will happen to you or you will see something and for whatever reason you will think of exactly what you want.
A perfect example of that, I was walking in my house after I got off late from work, it was real dark and before walking in I lit up a ciggarette and was about to sit down on my front porch, well the flame from the lighter lit up a gecko, he moved a little and that was what caught my eye. Then it was like he was just looking at me, watching me, and for whatever reason I though it was cool that they just chilled out wherever they want to and watch you.
So I drew one up using a similar pattern the real life one had on him, except I drew it up using a tribal base, yet leaving it realistic. The next afternoon it was tattooed on my inner arm, like it was crawling up the inside of my upper arm, just hanging out, looking at me.
So you see something weird and unexplainable will happen to or around you and thats when the idea will pop in your head and then you will be ready. Its best not to think about it at all, let something come to you. And it will, kind of like a relationship with someone, the best ones find you.

here's an idea to think about, just remember it is something u will have to live with the REST of ur life unless u have oodles of money to have it removed. So be careful what u pick and that it is something u will never b ashamed of in front of ur children and in-laws later on in life. Have fun and good luck
