Too much.
People telling me how to live life tops the list.
another thing that drives me insane: people that get a cute little puppy, but 9-10 months later they suddenly do not have time and the poor thing is sent off/abandoned.

I have many assorted flavors of pet peeves, such as disliking narcissistic or materialistic people, especially those that think the world is owed to them yet refuse to be courteous. I've managed to become more "centered" so most things roll off my back and I've accepted that most of the world has just gone insane or is too self-absorbed to worry about others. Everyone has a [hidden] agenda it seems...
What DOES absolutely drive me insane is any level of ignorance and fanaticism whereas people are shoving their beliefs in the faces of others around them. This sort of behavior leads to all sorts of racism, sexism, terrorism, and other nastiness. I'd say the root of everything wrong in the world can be traced back to this very notion.
Consider religious fanatics. Everyone thinks their religion is the better one and it's great to see passion and belief all around us, it can be very inspiring, but when it gets out of hand, it is disgusting. Religious fanatics point fingers at others and force their opinions upon others; even worse, they don't respect the beliefs of others. My favorite is when they call everyone a sinner, make hasty final judgements, and persecute others, while they themselves are bigger sinners. It is one thing to be religious, yet a whole different thing to be truly spiritual and practice what you preach. This is a world full of people with very distinct beliefs and, if we can't extend simple common courtesies to those around us, what makes us any different from other species in the Animal Kingdom?
Some other blatant signs of ignorant and lack of common courtesy in the world:
* People that push and shove to get on the train or bus, when they can simply stand aside like the rest and speed up the overall process of loading/unloading.
* The crazy escalator runners that figure that they should run up and down the escalators, instead of using the stairs, which are empty - to them, the escalator gains them 2 extra seconds of their lives (WOW)!
* Sidewalk hogs that insist on stopping in the middle of pedestrian traffic and ponder the most complicated mathematical equations instead of going to the side first and letting people get around their fat asses.
* Health nuts who go around assuming fat people have low self esteem and don't ever work out, not considering some people have medical conditions that make them prone to weight gain.
...Yeah, ignorance ablaze definitely makes me sad. Not to sound sappy, but people need to learn to get along and get over themselves. There is too much egomaniacal pride, blind prejudice, and miseducation driving the behavior of people today. If we just tried to treat others the way we'd like to be treated, there may just be less problems but that's easier said than done. It's much easier to act out of impulse and pretend you are the master of the universe. ;o)

People who throw garbage out the windows of their car and just people who litter in general.
People who abuse animals
Illegal Immigrants
People who always have a cell phone stuck to the side of their head.

People who yell at their kids in public.
People who treat other people like crap.
People who are hate mongers against other people because of their race, sexual orientation, etc.
Oh, and Walmart. Walmart drives me insane.

People who come into my restaurant 5 minutes before we close and decide to order a bottle of wine and sit there for over an hour.
People who tailgate and drive like @$$holes....don't they know that causes accidents!!!
Guys who gawk and say stupid sh!t to me!!!
Racism, sexism and egocentric people...
Crazy conservatives that say "liberals hate America"
Data entry/maintenance..... it's boring as hell.... TOTAL TORTURE (hence why I am on here and not doing it!!!!)

Immigrants who come to this country and then immediately start sucking us dry with welfare, Medicaid, free this and free that - and then act as though they are entitled to it! I'm so sick to death of the US south being turned into Mexico USA with all of the products, Mexican music, language, politics, etc... They do not want to assimilate. They just want to continue as they were in our country with our tax money to fund them. IT MAKES ME CRAZY ANGRY!!!

Stupid people. Degenerates. People that can't drive. people that don't take other people's feelings into consideration. When they raise prices at my nail & hair salon. All designer clothing is too expensive. Fake copies of designer bags. Not being able to put on manicure properly. CHEAP PEOPLE I HATE.
