A friend of mine has breast cancer and the local doctor prescribed Herceptin for her. However she is in China and she can't find this medicine on the market there. Since she can't really travel to the US to get prescription, I wonder how and where can I get the medicine for her? Is there a way we can get a doctor to give prescription by talking to her over the phone? Or is there a place that I can get this medicine without prescription?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Herceptin is a prescription drug, which only an oncologist can prescribe. You should check with an oncologist in your place for the availability of the drug. Or you may ask the company which markets the drug in your country:
