what were the main air force air craft and navy ships used during the korean war?

Most ships & aircraft were leftovers from WW2. Pistons engine planes such as the B-29, P-51 (changed to F-51) etc. Jets were beginning to appear such as the F-84 Starfire, F-86 Sabre Some carriers were modified to handle jets. All in all a mixture of WW2 & 50's technology.

Aircraft consisted of some propeller aircraft, but mostly a lot of the old Sabre jets and assorted other planes. The Navy also had 4 or 5 types of planes that were used.
Ships consisted of destroyers, battleships, and amphibious ships.
