what should i do to be a Portuguese/English Translator?

My first language is Portuguese
. I do speak english, but, i want to know if there`s any school for translators in the U.S.A... Help me please!!!

You could get certified and go into business for yourself. When my wife came here from Brazil we had to have her medical and other info translated by a certified translator. They probably did an hour's work and made $50. Not bad.....
