Well.. I went out with my bestfriend. After about a week he told me he didn't like the way it was and he only liked me as a sister. I was like ARE YOU KIDDING ME? But I got over it. We didn't talk for almost a month and he came crawling back. About a month ago we dated again. With the same break up. Talk to him about it and realize that if things DONT work out you COULD lose your friendship. It's all a part of life, and something you'll learn from. Good luck.

The only thing you can do is talk to them about it. Be open and discuss your fears, but also, don't live in regret. You live only once so maybe go for it but I would definitely talk to him first about it. Good Luck

I say go with the flow, you only have one life and you don't want to regret whether or not you should have taken a chance later....
