His non-existance

I asked a Methodist minister (woman) once how we would know Jesus was God when we met him. Her answer was "Oh, you'll know!" That was not acceptable then nor would someone who "came back" today and said "I'm God!" be acceptable to me. He might be a pretender, an interloper or an alien with superior intelligence and technology rather than the "creator of the universe". Besides my belief is that God is here, right now, all around one, everywhere, only waiting to be discovered. He awakens us each morning from a state like death;why doubt Him?
